About us

Nottingham Technology Ventures Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Nottingham. Its role is to advise the University of Nottingham on the formation of spin-out companies and the management of its spin-out company portfolio. It also advises on the management of investments from the Pathfinder Fund and the Nottingham Invention Fund.

The Invention Fund is dedicated to accelerating development and growth of spin-out companies.

We are based in the Ingenuity Centre within the dynamic University of Nottingham Innovation Park (UNIP) on the Jubilee Campus.

University of Nottingham Spin-Out Investment Committee (SOIC)

NTV is responsible for preparing investment proposals for the SOIC and for the day-to-date management of the spin-out portfolio.

The SOIC is a University of Nottingham committee. The Committee is responsible for reviewing and approving proposals for investment by the University into spin-out companies.
